Thomas Tuchel has managed to rejuvenate Chelsea with just 2 games, igniting the prolific spirits within most of the players. Tuchel’s amazing start in the EPL has given hope to most Chelsea fans across the world, and they think Tuchel is the right man to reinstate Chelsea as one of the world’s greatest clubs.

Frank Lampard held the Head Coach job before Tuchel was introduced at Stamford Bridge. During Lampard’s reign as boss, he fell out with some players, therefore excluding them from the squad.

Reece James, Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Hudson Odio, and Billy Gilmour all profited from Lampard’s decisions as they received more playtime. On the receiving end were Marcos Alonso, César Azpilicueta, and Jorginho. However, Jorginho still managed to get some decent playtime

But Lampard’s decisions affected the club negatively, as he picked fresh feet over experience. Chelsea’s new signings have also not unleashed their full potential, with Timo Werner missing clear chances.

Was it a Lampard problem? Fans were reluctant to blame their legend, so they evaded the question but the Chelsea board knew the answer and fired Lampard.

Tuchel’s first game as Head Coach of Chelsea was against a tough opponent, Wolves. However, he comfortably dominated the game, stringing 898 passes against Wolves 242. The game, however, ended as a goalless draw.

The game against Wolves immediately revealed that a new boss, who is tactically sound, was in charge. Tuchel brought back Azpilicueta and Alonso, who both scored in Tuchel’s second game in charge against Burnley.

Some of the players have openly spoken about their new boss, and how they’re optimistic, one of which is Thiago Silva who played under Tuchel at PSG for two years.

Tuchel has a tough job ahead but I’m sure Roman Abramovich is pretty satisfied with what he has shown him.

Chelsea faces Tottenham on Thursday, another tough opponent being coached by one of the world’s greatest coaches, Jose Mourinho. We believe this fixture will allow Tuchel to prove his tactical genius in the EPL.

Will Tuchel bring back Chelsea’s former glory days? Let’s wait and watch.
