Africa’s number one bad girl and popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, is in the news again, but this time for the best!
She has recently bagged two nominations in the upcoming UK Music Video Awards 2020 slated for later this year.
The song which earned her the nominations is her “49-99" single which was released last year (2019). This track is her first single under her current music label, Universal Music.
Her sonorous voice and unique sense of style had her being nominated in the categories of Best R&B/Soul Video – International and Best Styling in a Video.
Our star girl will be competing with international acts, the likes of Marvin Gaye, Beyonce, Gregory Porter amongst others.

According to the organizers, the event which was originally planned to take place at the London’s Roundhouse will be aired virtually with a live audience due to the pandemic restrictions.
