Late singer, Mohbad’s widow, Omowunmi has penned down a tribute to her deceased husband as she turns a year older today.
In an Instastory post she shared, Omowunmi stated that this is the first time in a long time that she will be celebrating her birthday without her husband. She went on to describe Mohbad as her ‘’best friend, confidant, and gist partner. ‘’
Omowunmi who also revealed that Mohbad gave her a gift of himself in their son, Liam, further urged his fans to celebrate him on her birthday.

This is the first time in many years that I will be celebrating my birthday without my husband, my best friend, confidant, gist partner and more. All I want for my birthday is for his fans to celebrate the life he lived. Let this day be dedicated to him and say a prayer for his soul. He has given me the best birthday gift before he was snatched from me. He gave me the gift of himself through our son, Liam. A child I will love and cherish till the end of time.
