After taking a short self-imposed break from the political scene, former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has been in the news these days.

Some time ago, there were rumours that he had left the Action People’s Congress (APC) and was planning to form a new party. But, he has come out to trash those rumours.

Just when we thought we won’t be hearing anything controversial about him anytime soon, the incumbent governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, called him out.

In response to the comments Okorocha made over the invasion of a warehouse said to be owned by his daughter that Uzodinma gave such an order because he (Okorocha) is more popular and the governor needed tutorials on how to administer the state, the incumbent governor described him as a shameless and irredeemable fellow.

According to a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Declan Emelumba, on behalf of the Imo State government, Okorocha should be in jail cooling off by now. It also said that the only thing the man can teach anyone is how to turn the state into a family business, “build China roads", embezzle funds, etc.

Ok ooo. Let’s keep watching. We just hope the grasses (Imo State people) won’t suffer in this ongoing battle between these two political elephants.

Please, don’t forget to react to and share this post so we can keep giving you quality gists laidis.
