Sale Of Contaminated Fuel To Airlines Causes Concern.

People who are paid to do their jobs, don’t do them.
Two airlines had to cancel their flights last year after they discovered that their planes contained over a hundred litres of water. Not 20 litres o, 100 litres!! And they got the contaminated fuel from the same supplier.
Imagine those planes were allowed to take off, that’s how people would have died and everybody wee be blaming innocent people who are in the village busy harvesting yams.
As a result, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has closed the fuel depot in order to properly investigate the matter.
According to NCAA spokesman, Sam Adurogboye, while the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) wee still be in charge of auditing fuel marketers, the agency will be monitoring the way fuel marketers organize their affairs.
This was also supported by the CEO of CleanServe Integrated Energy Solutions Limited, Chris Ndulue, who said that
“The regulation by NCAA is better now but in the past it was left for DPR because it has more competence to deal with it, but the most important thing is that there are many marketers that are coming up."
We just hope these fuel marketers will really be regulated properly sha.
