Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, attributed their 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in this season’s Champions League final to the club’s strong tradition and the absence of egos within his squad.

This win marks Real Madrid’s record-extending 15th triumph in the competition. Despite Dortmund appearing threatening for much of the first half, goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Jr in the second half secured another final victory for Los Blancos.

“It is the history and tradition of the club, of course the quality of the players, the club is a family, we work together without problems and the atmosphere is really good in the dressing room.

“I need to thank the club and the players, no big egos, really humble, it was not difficult to manage the squad this season,” Ancelotti told TNT Sports.
