A Kenyan police officer identified as James Mwangi Nderitu took his own life on the 9th of August at the administrative officer’s rural home in Muthuini Sub Location in Mwohoko area, Kieni West.
The cause of his actions is yet to identified by the police, but investigations are currently underway to uncover detials of the sad death.
The incident took place barely after the police finished feeding his cows. He went inside the house, allegedly locked his bedroom and main door before setting the house on fire.
Neighbors did well to prevent the fire from spreading, but, on getting inside, they found the officer’s lifeless burnt body on the floor.
