Clementina, an eleven-year-old girl who was arrested by policemen in Ughelli, has finally been released.

The little girl was arrested by the men when they went to the house to make an arrest and couldn’t find anyone.

E shock you ba. Me too.

According to her elder brother in a Facebook post he made, it took the intervention of a popular Facebook human rights activist, Gwamnishu Emefiena Harrison, to secure her release;

“My sister #Clementina has finally been released by the #NigeriaPolice Ughelli division with the help of  #humanrights activists GWAMNISHU EMEFIENA HARRISON and his team…I’m really grateful sir to you and your team may God bless u and to everyone that show their support in one way or the other toward the situation may God bless you all.

Just imagine she had nobody with connections, that’s how an innocent little girl would have spent weeks (or even months in a police cell)… na wa ohhh!

Nigerian policemen/women are just one of a kind. Because me ayam not understanding how a little girl will be kept in detention for more than twenty-four hours. What am I saying? The fact that they arrested her alone, is enough. I won’t be surprised if they na start arresting goats because they feel the goats are accomplices. Lol.

What do you think about this arrest? Do you think it’s constitutional and why/why not?

Please, don’t forget to react to and share this post so we can keep giving quality gists like this.
