Nigerians can be really callous especially with the whole “if it hasn’t happened to you then it can’t happen to me”.
So this morning BB 9ja ‘Pepper Dem’ winner, Mercy Eke, in an Instagram live video announced that she has been scammed and that it was via phone call.
According to her, she fell for it because she thought it was an actual call from her bank. She went ahead to vent over banks calling people and that a stop is put to it.
Hmmmmmmm as usual, when it concerns BBN, it becomes a battle of the faves. An Instagram user @natheloo1 said “You are too dull, my fav Tacha cannot be scammed”, and there went on several silly comparisons.
Another bone of contention during her IG live were people contemplating if the bank really calls its clients. Most people said it wasn’t possible. Hello!!! Do you have an idea what relationship she has with the bank? The last we checked Mercy got some million bucks so it could be very possible for her to have frequent from her bank.
However, Mercy refused to disclose the name of the bank nor the amount she sent to the scammer.
