Martins Omotoyosi, father of two kids, who lives at Lawani Ode Palace, Oke Odo area of New London Estate, Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos state, has been arrested for beating, starving and locking up his children in a water drum.
Martins allegedly claimed that his children, Dorcas, 8 and Oreofe 6 had collected food from their neighbors and eaten it behind his back without telling him.
The landlord came to the rescue and immediately reached out to the Police officers from the Ipaja division to rescue the children and after further investigation, Martins was arrested. It was gathered that the children have been taken to the welfare department for adequate care.
