Lil Frosh (Sanni Goriola Wasiu) has been quiet after news of his alleged domestic violence surfaced on the internet on 5th October to the disapproval of several social media users, many of which were of the opinion that people who fall under such category ought to be jailed immediately.
Recall that he was fired by his record label a day after the pictures of his battered girlfriend trended on social media.
Well, a week later after much of the outlash must have faded and subtly masked by the EndSarsProtests, a statement has been posted via the ex DMW signee’s social media handles, a rather short one to the dismay and annoyance of several social media users.
We have no idea of what “we are on top of the situation” means but hopefully there will be more updates from the singer soon.
The declaration left several internet users confused as to who actually released it; Lil Frosh himself or his management as the use of both first person pronoun and third-person pronoun was used.
It’s Pertinent to note that the said apology was directed to friends and fans of the singer and not the battered ex-girlfriend.
