Eden Hazard has once again been declared unfit for the next couple of weeks due to a muscle injury. This makes it the ninth time the Former Chelsea star would be missing out on games since joining Real Madrid in 2019 due to injuries.

Madrid signed Hazard for €100 million with a weekly wage of £400,000, making him the 8 joint most expensive signing, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale. However, we can agree that the Belgium forward hasn’t performed as much as those names.

Eden Hazard has managed only 24 appearances for Madrid, scoring only 3 goals. It is reported that the player has missed a total of 38 games due to his consistent injuries.

Is Eden Hazard plain unlucky? With the string of injuries, one would say yes. The player was key to all of Chelsea’s successes before his transfer. During that time, he managed to stay clear of severe injuries.

Real Madrid sought Hazard as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, the world’s highest goalscorer in football. Unfortunately, Hazard has failed to fill those shoes.

The Los Blancos Directors would be biting their lips, hoping that money was spent on someone not made of glass. Well, we wish Hazard a quick recovery and hope he gets back to winning ways.
