Ghana’s Black Galaxies head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has announced a squad of 32 players for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Championship qualifiers against Super Eagles of Nigeria.

As reported on the official website of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the team will be training at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence located in Prampram.

The squad will participate in three distinct phases of training camp leading up to the match.

Ghana is set to host the first leg on Sunday, December 22, 2024, while the return leg is planned for December 28.

The team that emerges victorious will secure a place in CHAN 2025, which Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will jointly host.

Notably, the Black Galaxies previously prevented Nigeria from qualifying for the 2023 edition of this tournament.

Meanwhile, former Sunshine Queens striker, Blessing Nkor is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to make her mark with Nigeria’s women’s national football team, Super Falcons.

Blessing Nkor has received her first call-up for the squad ahead of an international friendly match scheduled against France at 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, November 10.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially announced a 20-player roster for the upcoming game, with Nkor cutting a promising addition.

Upon the news of her selection, she expressed her excitement and gratitude through social media, stating, “God did it,” showcasing her enthusiasm for this significant milestone in her career.

Nkor wrote, “I’m grateful for this privilege and honour. It’s time to soar higher.”

She also extended special thanks to everyone who has supported her along her journey, acknowledging that their encouragement means the world to her.

Her youth national team experience has highlighted Nkor’s football journey, as she was a vital member of Nigeria’s Under-20 women’s team from 2022 to 2023.
