In the latest ranking by Forbes, our very own Dangote is still on the list.
According to list, Aliko Dangote has remained in his position as the #1 in Africa for 10 years in a row!!
Some of us couldn’t even top our class three terms in a row, not to even talk about 10 terms.
Dangote, a Nigerian businessman who founded and is the Chairman of the largest cement manufacturers in Africa, Dangote Cement, retained that position with a net worth of $12.5b.
Do you remember Dangote was in the news a few weeks ago for something very controversial? A lady, who claimed to be his side chic, posted pictures of him in his birthday suit.
Well, that didn’t do anything to the man’s pocket as his net worth increased by $4.2b, from $8.3b in 2020 to $12.5b.
Another Nigerian that made it to the list is Mike Adenuga. The founder of the third-largest mobile operator in Nigeria, Globacom, was fifth on the list with a net worth of #6.3b.
Although he went down from his previous 4th position in 2020, he made a profit of $.1b.
