Arsenal’s most impressive and arguably fastest goal poacher, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has returned to training with his Teammates at Arsenal.

The 31-year-old Gabonese missed a couple of important premier league games, after attending to a serious ‘family matter’ and later being in quarantine upon return.

Aubameyang has 5 goals and 1 assist to his name in the EPL. He netted twice in his last game against Newcastle, before going on his 3 games break.

Aubameyeng’s return to the EPL is an indication of more goals, something that’s needed to keep Arsenal’s 7 unbeaten runs going.

However, Aubameyang’s form wasn’t the best before his short departure. The No. 14 has failed to score in most of their games, being humbled by opposition defenses. 5 goals and 1 single assist are not impressive for a striker.

We can point to his new position as a problem. While at Dortmund, Aubameyang played as a striker, leaving the creative work to players like Dembele and Reus. However, Arteta, Arsenal’s Head Coach has forced him to play from the left-wing, thereby increasing his tasks

Nonetheless, Aubameyang will have to adapt to that role, as Lacazette is flourishing in the number 9 position.

Arsenal faces Wolves today away at Molineux Stadium with the possibility of Aubameyang starting.
