A 23-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death in Ogun State by three men for stealing phones.
The three men, Chinonso Jude, Chibuike Samson and Ugo Obi, who live in Iju Ota, were arrested on January 21 after the father of the deceased reported the incident to the police.
According to the father, Mr. Ajibade Gbenga, the three suspects claimed that his son stole two phones and beat him until he went into a coma. When rushed to Ota General Hospital, the doctor on duty confirmed him dead.
