Former Newcastle United striker Alan Shearer has provided predictions for the Premier League games involving Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, and a couple of others.
Note that the most anticipated Premier League game of the weekend will see Manchester City take on Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.
More so, Manchester United will visit Crystal Palace, while Liverpool will aim to secure a victory against Bournemouth. Ahead of the Premier League games, Alan Shearer provided insights on some of the matches for BetFair.
Shearer predicts a score draw in the London derby between West Ham United and Chelsea. As for the match between Manchester City and Arsenal, Shearer expects a draw due to both teams’ recent participation in the Champions League, making it a long week for them.
Alan Shearer said: “West Ham v Chelsea – It is yet another London derby for West Ham and very much like the London derby I spoke about last weekend at Fulham, where I also predicted a draw, I am going to go for another score draw here.
“Liverpool vs Bournemouth – Arne Slot will change things around in the team because of what happened last week and because of the extra game in midweek too. I think they’ll have enough, and it’ll be a home win for Liverpool.
“Crystal Palace vs Man Utd – It is a really tough one to call but it will be a fantastic atmosphere at Selhurst Park. I will go for a draw.
“Man City v Arsenal – I am going for a draw in this one. It’s a long week with both teams having played in the Champions League as well, so a draw for both teams isn’t a bad result, even though Man City are at home.”
