Recently, there seems to be a lot of uproar around ‘sex in exchange for money or material needs’ and in turn, some tweeps started an association with the hashtag ‘Stingy Men Association of Nigeria (SMAN)’ whoich started trending on Twitter and Instagram.
Men were seen photoshopping their pictures to what looked like a formulated ID card specifically designed for this purpose to signify their membership. One of the most revered celebrities, Don Jazzy was amongst the first to jump on the trend as he posted his membership ID card online.
It seems like this trend is not going to end any time soon as a Nigerian Television host and vlogger, Toke Makinwa’s tweet has added more fuel to the fire thereby evoking many people’s reactions.
Although some women jumped on this trend earlier before now using the hashtag, ‘Stingy Women Association of Nigeria (SWAN)’ but as Toke jumped in, expect more fire.
Her tweet read: “This stingy Men association Na wa ooh… Abeg where can I sign up for close legs association #Wemoveeee”
Tweeps are reacting to this tweet. However, a particular tweep, Emerald @MadamCondensed who is a member of the bitter leaf FC had dropped a response which may later evoke Toke’s response very soon.
Emerald’s tweet read: “If it didn’t close in Unilag it can’t close now.” Do you think this is brewing hate on Emerald’s part?

In one of her comments to another tweep on Twitter, she said she is only trying to catch cruise with the guys, nothing more.
Do you think this is just a pure cruise for Toke? Or there she meant what she tweeted?
