A student of the Kwara Polytechnic was gruesomely killed by rival cultists on Tuesday, 3rd of August 2021. The struggling student and phone repairer were reported to have been ambushed by members of a rival cult group who beheaded the young man.
While the deceased body is yet to be found, commuters were shocked to find a severed head at the Unity Roundabout in Illorin this morning.
According to his aged grieving mother, the deceased had been missing since Monday.
Olawale left home past 8 on Monday morning. But when he didn’t return on time which was unusual of him, I called his number several times but there was no response.
We now decided to report at the ‘A’ Division police station and also go to his school and search hospitals if perhaps he had an accident.
“However, it was while searching for him that we saw some persons gathered around a spot around Unity, taking pictures.
“It turned out to be the severed head of my son.
According to the police spokesperson in the state, Ajayi Okasanmi, investigations is ongoing to uncover the perpetrators of the gruesome crime.
