Liya ” Melo”

On the 2nd October 2020 our Nigerian superstar OBO announced the signing of his first female artist LIYA. She joined the 30BG/DMW with other banger hit makers like , Mayorkun, Dremo, Yonda and Peruzzi. Since the announcement we have been waiting to see what the DMW First Lady will bring so that we can rate her oh.

On the 8th of December Davido’s first female artist and DMW’s first lady, Liya released her second single on the label, ‘Melo.’
The song is the actualization of a regal picture which Davido posted on his social media page some weeks ago. OBO also graced the colorful video with his appearance alongside other DMW artists.

‘Melo’ is Yoruba for ‘How Much” As much as we think auto-tune was heavily used in the song, we believe LIYA’s vocals come through.

When it comes to Bangers the 30BG has never disappointed us, so don’t think they will start now!
